RESCUE DIVER

This course requires the completion of 5 knowledge development sessions, 10 skills and 4 scenarios conducted over at least 2 days.

Upon successful completion of this course, PADI Rescue Divers receive a certification card and are able to effectively perform diver rescues and assist or manage diving-accident situations, render proper first aid and qualify for PADI Divemaster training.   Rescue Divers can also earn the PADI Master Scuba Diver certification, the highest non-professional diver status.

Prerequisite: 12 years, PADI Advanced OW Diver and Emergency First Responder or equivalent.
