These features make this dive ideal for all level of divers. A nearby plateau is just 5 metres deep, perfect for training or for making a prolonged decompression stop more interesting! At 63 metres technical divers can find a huge 3-prong anchor protruding out from the reef wall. Moreover, an abundance of fish life is generally encountered on this site.
Ras il-Ħobż
Ras il-Ħobż, or as otherwise known Middle Finger, is best described as a huge column rising from the deep and stopping just 8 metres below the surface. The narrow channel between this rock and the shore is 35 metres deep whereas on the seaward side, the bottom drops dramatically to 100+ metres.
