What’s Involved
During this Discover Scuba Diving experience, you’ll get your first SCUBA lessons and have the chance to dive into a vibrant underwater realm, guided by a professional PADI instructor. Here’s what you can expect:
Introduction to Equipment: Learn the basics of scuba diving equipment, including how to prepare and use it properly.
Skill Practice: Master essential skills like pressure equalisation, underwater swimming techniques, and hand signals to communicate underwater.

Is Discover Scuba Diving a Certification?
This is a fun and easy first time diving experience, not a diver certification. You get registered as having completed the program with PADI; however, you only fully qualify as a certified diver after completing the PADI Open Water course.

What to Know Before Your Dive Training
Check The Dive Medical Questionnaire
To make your experience as smooth as possible, we recommend reviewing the medical questionnaire before you arrive—this helps avoid any last-minute delays, extra costs, or hassles.
All students must complete this medical questionnaire before starting any PADI diving course. If you can answer ‘No’ to all the questions, you’re set to go and don’t need a doctor’s approval.
However, if you answer ‘Yes’ to any question, you’ll need a doctor to review, complete, and sign the form to confirm you’re fit to dive.
