About PADI Advanced Open Water Course
The PADI Advanced Open Water Course in Malta builds upon foundational open water skills, offering adventure and versatility. It includes five exciting dives, enhancing your control and confidence underwater. This course requires the completion of a Deep Dive, Underwater Navigation Dive, and three adventure dives from the PADI list.
You can seamlessly transition to it after the PADI Open Water course, and upon completion, you’ll become a certified PADI Advanced Open Water Diver, qualified to explore depths up to 30m worldwide for a lifetime. Unlock new, exhilarating dive sites beyond the reach of typical open-water divers.
What's Involved
Upon successful completion of this course, PADI Advanced Open Water Divers receive a 30m certification card and can enjoy deep diving. and are eligible to the complete range of PADI specialties. Advanced Divers can also enrol in the PADI Rescue Diver Course.
Adventure divers need only complete the remaining two adventure dives.

Check The Dive Medical Questionnaire
To make your experience as smooth as possible, we recommend reviewing the medical questionnaire before you arrive—this helps avoid any last-minute delays, extra costs, or hassles.
All students must complete this medical questionnaire before starting any PADI diving course. If you can answer ‘No’ to all the questions, you’re set to go and don’t need a doctor’s approval.
However, if you answer ‘Yes’ to any question, you’ll need a doctor to review, complete, and sign the form to confirm you’re fit to dive.
