About PADI Advanced Open Water Diver

The PADI Advanced Open Water Course in Malta builds upon foundational open water skills, offering adventure and versatility. It includes five exciting dives, enhancing your control and confidence underwater. This course requires the completion of a Deep Dive, Underwater Navigation Dive, and three adventure dives from the PADI list.

You can seamlessly transition to it after the PADI Open Water course, and upon completion, you’ll become a certified PADI Advanced Open Water Diver, qualified to explore depths up to 30m worldwide for a lifetime. Unlock new, exhilarating dive sites beyond the reach of typical open-water divers.

What's Involved

Upon successful completion of this course, PADI Advanced Open Water Divers receive a 30m certification card and are eligible to the complete range of PADI specialties. Advanced Divers can also enrol in the PADI Rescue Diver Course.

Adventure divers need only complete the remaining two adventure dives.

PADI’s Adventures in Diving eLearning Manual provides you with information on more than 16 types of PADI specialty diving. You’ll use them as a guide to improve your diving skills and prepare for new experiences and adventures.

BEYOND THE ADVANCED COURSE

Once you have completed the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course you will be able to access amazing PADI Specialty Dive courses like Deep Diver, Wreck Diver, and More! Once you have 5 specialty courses under your belt, you are well on the way to becoming a PADI Master Scuba Diver!
