Wardija Point

At Wardija Point dive site, directly underneath the high cliffs above, this near-vertical and under-hanging wall is full of small holes and fissures inhabited by a variety of marine life. Massive boulders drop down into the depths, also creating small caverns and swim-throughs.

Wardija Point, also known as Il-Pinnur tal-Wardija, is located in San Lawrenz, Gozo, Malta. Positioned directly beneath towering cliffs, this near-vertical wall is adorned with small holes and fissures, providing shelter to a diverse array of marine life. The underwater terrain is accentuated by massive boulders that descend into the depths, forming intriguing caverns and swimthroughs. The sea life at Wardija Point includes scorpionfish, amberjack, spiny lobster (langouste or rock lobster), moray eels, common octopus, and Mediterranean damselfish.
